    It pretty much shaped the way the countries are now. The Spanish in Central and South America (except for Brazil which is weird and Portugese), the English in North America, and the French in Canada and parts of the Caribbean.

    Am I the only one who answered the question?

    Generally, the European explorers had several effects. They helped to modernize the world and expand territory, however, they devestated the world by introducing dangeorus diseases to the Americas, and even more, the diseases wiped out generations of history.
